ANDERSON, Ind. — Darlene  Robinson, 54, of Anderson, passed away on March 22, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospital Indianapolis.

She was born on Nov. 5, 1958, in Anderson and resided most of her life in Anderson.

Darlene graduated from Anderson High School .

She retired from Guide Lamp Division of General Motors.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Darlene is survived by her loving sons, Ricardo Daniels and Bill Blackmon; sisters, Mary Frances Grady and Linda Mitchell (Andrew); brother, Elroy Robinson; grandchildren, Sha’myia Brown and Mason Blackmon; nieces, Debra White (Michael), Cranisha J. Carter, Charron Carter, A’amiya Carter, Banita Mitchell, Nyrae McPhaul (Jose), Jamilia Johnson (Carlin Sr.), Jhaskada Fields, Tasha Robinson, Astarlove Echols (Brian), Loumeshia Brown (Terry), Whitney Robinson and Janane Robinson; nephews, Dewayne Mitchell (Lisa), Andrew Edwards III (Tamekia), Darnell Robinson, Joshua Robinson (Annette), Durran Robinson and Tremayne McPhaul; great-nieces, Kashia Mitchell, Kiera Mitchell, Mahogany McPhaul, Jonae Graves, Justice Robinson and Amiya Edwards; great-nephews, Terrance Mitchell, Trevon Chapman, Tremayne McPhaul, Andre’ Mitchell, Brian Dixon II, Tremareus McPhaul, Andrez Edwards, Antonio Robinson, Calise Youngblood, Ty Youngblood, Carlin Johnson Jr., William Johnson and Joshua Robinson Jr.; special friends, Yvonne Rodgers, Yvonne May, Lajuana Dernda, Jeanie Stanley, Nora Dixon, Marsha Currie, Renee Dorsey Peak, Lisa Redding and Cathy Lewis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Sammy Robinson; and her brother, Calvin Robinson.

The family would like to thank all of the doctors who cared for Darlene.

Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Monday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. William O’Neal officiating.

Cremation will take place.
