---- — ANDERSON — Mark E. Hodson, 54, of Anderson, passed away on March 19, 2014, at his residence. He was born March 30, 1959, in the U.S. Army Hospital, Sukiran, Okinawa, and resided most of his life in Anderson.
Mark graduated from Elwood Community High School, and he served his country in the U.S. Army.
He worked as an Electrician for Premier Electric in Naples, Fla.
He enjoyed playing euchre, golf and the organ.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Sandy (Bannon) Hodson; father John S. Hodson; stepsons Joshua Alan Kendall and Jeramie Kendall; siblings Rick (Joyce) Hodson, Duane (Carla) Hodson, Stanna (Hodson) (John) Kirchenbauer and Stan (Shelley) Hodson; father-in-law Albert Bannon; hospice nurse and special friend Mary Lieberman; special friends Renee and Doyle Brunk; special furry family members Emmy, Sadie, Lucy and Larry; also many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Hodson; mother-in-law Emily Bannon; grandmother Irene Hughes, and grandfather Gene Bannon.
A living wake was held in November when Mark was able to enjoy his family and friends.
