PENDLETON — Penny Lynne (Lewis) Vaughn, 67, of Pendleton passed away March 20, 2014, at Community Hospital in Anderson.
She was born May 20, 1946, in Noblesville to the late Earl “Pete” and Wenogene (Davis) Lewis and has lived in Pendleton since 1970.
Penny previously worked at Tupperware and was a homemaker. She was a member of Pendleton Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Vaughn, whom she married on Feb. 1, 1964; son, Shon Vaughn of Pendleton; daughter, Shannon Vaughn of Chicago, Ill.; daughter, Cheree’ Vaughn of Muncie; brothers, Steve Lewis of Anderson and Greg (Cindy) Lewis of Springhill, Tenn.; sister, Jody (Stan) Lord of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sons, John David and Jay, and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, John and June Vaughn.
Services will be noon Monday at Wilson St. Pierre Lahm Chapel in Pendleton with Mark Nunley officiating. Burial will be in Mendon Cemetery in Pendleton.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the funeral home.
