ANDERSON — David G. Hamilton, 75, of Anderson, passed away on March 30, 2014, at Manor Care in Anderson.
He was born on May 6, 1938, in Anderson, and resided in Portland, Ind., for 37 years before moving back to Anderson.
He was a Master Model Maker,and was a member of Experimental Aircraft Association. He enjoyed flying and working on his airplane “Tweety Bird,” winning the Antique Classic Award at the Oshkosh Airshow in 1972.
David is survived by his wife, Phyllis Hamilton of Anderson; daughter, Michelle Hamilton-Hibler of Camby; sister, Vicky Lebherz of Indianapolis; and grandchildren, Lance Austin Hibler and Alisha Terese Hibler.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Hamilton; father, Guy Hamilton; son, David “Lance” Hamilton; daughter, Teresa Diane Hamilton; brother, Dick Hamilton; brother, Don Hamilton; and his sister, JoAnn Blann.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
