---- — ANDERSON — Frederick H. “Rick” Lindner III, 65, of Anderson, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013, at 7:25 p.m. in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Oct. 31, 2013.

He was born on Jan. 5, 1948, to the late Frederick Lindner Jr. and Doris (McAvoy) Little.

On Oct. 3, 1993, he married Christine (Weatherwax) Lindner.

Rick worked as an engineer for Jaquet North American. He was a member of Frankton United Methodist Church and was a Boy Scouts leader for many years. He enjoyed being a part of the Music Ministry at Frankton United Methodist Church, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family.

Rick is survived by his loving wife, Christine (Weatherwax) Lindner of Anderson; seven daughters, Erica Jenkins of New Hampshire, Vanessa (Greg) Zirock of Tennessee, Kerin (David) Fellows of New Hampshire, Beth Lindner of Wisconsin, Victoria (Brent) Chamberlain of Indiana, Luan Lindner of Indiana, and Nichole Lindner of Indiana; three sons, Joshua (Joleen) Lindner of Massachusetts, Jesse Thompson of Vermont, and Zachary Lindner of Indiana; two brothers, John (Ron) Lindner-Demers, and Thomas (Terri) Lindner; three sisters, Kathleen Lindner, Sandra Dufour, and Lillian (Charles) Nesbitt; two stepsisters, Cindy (Gerald) Coco and Annette Little; a stepbrother, Herbert Little; and 13 grandchildren.

Rick was preceded in death by his daughter, Angel Danielle; his father, Frederick Lindner II; mother, Doris (McAvoy) Little; and brother, Daniel Lindner.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Frankton United Methodist Church, Frankton, with the Rev. Gary Elsten officiating. Cremation will follow the service.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Harper and Dunnichay Funeral Home, Frankton.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to the Frankton United Methodist Church in memory of Rick.
