---- — CELINA, Tenn. — Wanda G. Choate, 76, passed away on Oct. 2, 2013, at her residence in Celina, Tenn. She was born on Sept. 1, 1937, in Anderson, Ind., and resided most of her life in Anderson.
She was a homemaker.
She loved to listen to country music, cook, sew, and dance.
Wanda is survived by her loving children, Christina (Joseph) Choate of Anderson, daughter, Linda (James) Phillips of Celina, Tenn., daughter, Angie (Johnnie) Robertson of Anderson, son, Loyd (Angela) Choate Jr. of Muncie, son, Terry (Morine) Shell of Indiana; brother, James (Carol) Parkhurst; sister, Sandy Shell; 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd A. Choate; her parents, Mary L. (Flory) and James R. Parkhurst; siblings, Harold Parkhurst, Floyd Parkhurst, Pearl Parkhurst, Alice Cooper, Orie Parkhurst, Robert Parkhurst, and Phyllis Parkhurst; and one grandchild, Sandra Damron.
Visitation will be held Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St. Anderson, Ind.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Roysden officiating.
Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
