ANDERSON -- Jacqueline J. Bennett, 83, went to be with her lord and savior after a sudden illness on Oct. 25, 2013.
She worked as a waitress in the Anderson area for many years until she retired, then she began enjoying her passion of music by teaching piano and organ lessons out of her home. She loved to knit and crochet and she was an avid reader.
She leaves to cherish her memory her family of four generations. Her children, daughters, Nita Breeden and Tammy (John) Mattox, sons, Terry Wood, William Bragg III, Robin (Lori) Bragg and Timothy (Sue) Bragg all of Anderson, step-daughter, Sherry Ban of Cape Coral, Fla., 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren, one brother, David (Carol) Dillon, sister-in-law, Prudy Dillon, special friends Bob and Leona Lowder.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Marvin Bennett, mother, Juanita (Ira) Orth and father, Robert (Mabel) Dillon, two brothers, Bob Seward, Ronnie Dillon and her son-in-law, Terry Breeden.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, Indiana.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Scott Webb officiating.
Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park.
