ANDERSON — Jerry Lee Finney, 68, Anderson, passed away Oct. 29, 2013, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born May 1, 1945, in Anderson, and was a lifelong Anderson resident. He graduated from Anderson High School Class of 1963, earned a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from Ball State University and his law degree from IU School of Law. He was a lawyer. He was in a coma for 36 years and nine months.
He is survived by his mother, Dolly Davis of Anderson; his aunts and uncles, Helen Banter of Muncie, Roy Davis, J. Norman (Irene) Davis, Nellie James and Dick Runyan, all of Anderson; and special caregiver, Marilyn Reece.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Davis; uncles, Ted Davis and Ora “Fuzzy” Davis; and aunt, Martha Runyan.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with the Rev. Emory Reece officiating. Interment will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home
