---- — ANDERSON — Jinnie “Inez” Barnes, 86, of Anderson, passed away on April 6, 2014, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
She was born on July 24, 1927, in Michie, Tenn., and resided most of her life in Anderson.
Inez worked for Oak Ridge National Laboratories, Omelet Shoppe, The Toast, and Waffle and Steak Restaurant.
She enjoyed to read, crochet and sitting on her front porch. She also loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Inez is survived by her children, Brenda Buell, Johnnie (Elaine) Barnes, Linda Barnes-Belcher, Joannie Barnes and William (Melissa) Barnes; sister, Montez Taylor; grandchildren, John Buell, Carol Buell-Vires, Bambi Hartzell, Jamie Hartzell, April Barnes-Beasley, Amy Barnes-Holt, Chrissy Stephens, Kurtis Belcher, Kaleb Belcher, Taylor Barnes, Andy Barnes and Mason Barnes; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Edgar Barnes; mother, Dona V. Browder; father, Arvie Andrew Browder; brother, Odell Browder; son-in-law, Butch Buell; and her great-grandson, Terrence Tarpley.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
