ANDERSON — Carl F. Manger, 69, of Anderson, passed away on April 2, 2014, at Randolph Nursing Home in Winchester. He was born on July 8, 1944, in Scottsburg and resided most of his life in Anderson.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy.
He worked for Roche and United Rent-All, and he attended Living Word Church in Chesterfield.
Carl is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Manger; two of 15 brothers and sisters; brother, Melvin Hazelwood of Anderson, brother, Paul Hazelwood of Jonesboro; brother-in-laws, Jerry (Sherry) Schmidt of Acworth, Ga., Larry (Cecelia) Schmidt of Leesburg, Ind., and DeWaine (Larae) McGunegill of Muncie.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret F. Manger, and his father, Ralph W. Manger.
A memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday at Robert Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St.
Visitation will take place from noon until 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Cremation and burial of ashes will take place in Anderson Memorial Park.
Military rites will be performed by the U.S. Navy and VFW 266.
