Robert ‘Bob’ Hines

CHESTERFIELD, Ind. — Robert “Bob” Hines, 95, of Chesterfield, passed away on April 21, 2013, at his residence.

He was born on Sept. 27, 1917, in Anderson, and resided most of his life in this area.

Bob graduated from Anderson High School.

He was a retired process engineer for Delco Remy and enjoyed fixing anything electrical for anyone who asked.

He was a charter member of Parkview Wesleyan Church.

Bob is survived by his children, Jacqueline (Jerry) Blair of Daleville, and Barry (Debbie) Hines of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Kyle Millage, Paul Krick, Rodney Krick, Chad Hines, Christy Johnson and Cory Hines; five great-grandsons; and five great-granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Norma (Shroyer) Hines, who died in 2000; first wife, Christina (Goins) Hines in 1950; father, Roy C. Hines; mother, Gertrude (Kelly) Hines; son, Bob Cheran Hines; daughter, Charlene Hines; and three brothers.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 E. 53rd St., Anderson.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Revs. Paul N. Trent and Jim Ricker officiating. Burial will take place in the East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.
