---- — PENDLETON — Harriett LaVaughn Robinson, 91, died Sept. 18, 2013, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital in Anderson after a brief illness.
LaVaughn was born April 30, 1922, in Pendleton, the daughter of Charlie and Mae Roberts.
She was a 1940 graduate of Pendleton High School and retired from Textron Corp. She was a member of Fall Creek Christian Church, Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority and St. John’s Victoria Guild.
Survivors include her sons, Steve Miller and Jeff (Ruth) Miller of Pendleton; stepchildren, Mike (Linda) Robinson and Dennis (Leila) Robinson; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; 13 step-great-grandchildren; and nephew, Dick Goff.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lemuel “Robbie” Robinson; her parents; stepmother, Eva Roberts; daughter, Peggy Cribb; stepdaughter, Linda Begley; and sister, Lorraine Goff.
Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at Fall Creek Christian Church, 1102 W. 700 S., Pendleton.
A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Fall Creek Christian Church with Pastor Tom Wiles officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fall Creek Christian Church, Pendleton Emergency Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 165, Pendleton, IN 46064, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
