---- — NOBLESVILLE — Clare A. Hobbs, 82, of Noblesville, passed away Sept. 20, 2013, at Harbour Manor Nursing Home in Noblesville.
She was born June 16, 1931, in Wilmore, Ky., and resided most of her life in Anderson.
Clare graduated from Farmland High School and Methodist Hospital School of Nursing.
She was a retired registered nurse and practiced at several hospitals.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Sigma Beta, as well as local basket and quilt guilds.
She is survived by her children, Jody Rock of Fishers, Melody Piazza of Noblesville, and Robert Hobbs of Anderson; grandchildren, Amanda and Benjamin Rock, and Nicholas, Megan and Henry Piazza; and three nieces and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Kate Wood Miller; father, the Rev. Henry T. Miller; and her husband, John F. Hobbs.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory in Anderson.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory with the Rev. Gary Klinger officiating.
Burial will take place in the Mock Cemetery in North Webster, Ind.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hopewell Center, 5325 Main St., Anderson.
