---- — KALAMAZOO — Samuel Bennett “Pee Wee” Grayson Jr., 54, of Kalamazoo, Mich. departed this life unexpectedly Sept. 19, 2013.
Samuel was born in St. Louis, Mo., on July 30, 1959.
Samuel leaves to cherish his memories two loving children; a daughter, Malisa Grayson and son, Ronail Grayson; four grandchild, Richla Grayson, Nakyah Grayson, Empress Grayson and Sa’Mya Grayson, all of Anderson; four sisters, Annie L. Grayson, Ruby J. Grant (Don) McKenzie of San Diego, Calif., Roslynn Grayson of Sikeston, Mo., and Sharon (Danny) Lindsey of Indianapolis; brothers, Robert Wilson of Milwaukee, Tyrone Grant of Anderson, Johnny Grayson of Indianapolis, Linzer J.P. (KaJuana) Grant, Jr. of South Carolina, Henry Grayson of Belleville, Ill.; aunts, Mary Hamer, Carolyn Wilson of Anderson, Elizabeth Harrington of Sikeston, Mo., Dorothy (Herman) Jefferson of Fairview Heights, Ill.; uncles Mose (Margaret) Grayson of Essex, Mo., Leroy (JoAnn) McCauley of Sikeston, Mo.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; a special brother, Walter Williams, special cousins, Robert Hamer; and very special stepfather, Linzer Grant Sr.
Sam was proceeded in death by his parents, Sam Grayson Sr. and Robertha Grayson; grandparents, Emery Wilson and Nola Wilson; great-niece, Aslynn Moon Menifee.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Greater Saint Mark Church of God in Christ, 2232 Dewey St., Anderson.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church.
