Robert J. McKee

June 4, 1951 — April 17, 2010

FISHERS, Ind. — Robert “Bob” J. McKee, 58, of Fishers, passed away April 17, 2010.

Bob attended Parkview Wesleyan Church in Chesterfield.

He was born June 4, 1951, in Anderson, to Wanetia and Ernest J. McKee.

On July 3, 1976, he was married to Diana Beth Stinson in Anderson.

He was a graduate of Highland High School.

He served in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Hood, Texas.

Bob was employed for 25 years at Blue Grass Farms in Anderson, Ind., and retired from WDS in 2007.

Bob first and foremost enjoyed life, which included traveling with his wife and family, playing golf with his buddies, especially his son, Brian, bowling in a league and, lastly, playing bocce ball with his wife and new found friends at Britton Falls.

Bob is survived by his wife of 33 years, Beth (Stinson) McKee; children, Chad McKee, Brian McKee, and Brandy Phalora McKee (husband, Neal Phalora); sisters, Sharon Swisk and Micki Carpenter; and close friend/brother, Scott McKee; close friends/family, Randy and Peggy Stinson, Karen and Bob Milam, his mother-in-law, Betty Stinson, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service, 229 S. Rangeline Road, Anderson.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Parkview Wesleyan Church, 27 E. Main St., Chesterfield, with the Rev. Paul Trent officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Parkview Wesleyan Church.
