---- — INDIANAPOLIS — Christopher F. Sutula, 31, of Indianapolis, died unexpectedly Nov. 4, 2013, at his residence.
Chris was born March 1, 1982, in Arlington Heights, Ill. He was the loving son of Michael and Donna (Hatcher) Sutula.
He graduated on the dean’s list from Ball State University with three degrees.
He was employed at Elden Properties. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He loved to fish with his dad and they took many great trips together trying to catch the “big one.” He enjoyed singing and entertaining. Chris was his mom’s pride and joy.
Survivors include his parents, Donna and Michael Sutula of Anderson. He was blessed with two very special grandmothers, Helen Sutula of Westchester, Ill., and his gammy, Rose Khirney of Elberta, Ala., and he thought the world of both of them; a very special godfather and uncle, Marty Hatcher of Foley, Ala.; uncles, James Khirney of Elberta, Ala., Albert (Debbie) Hatcher of North Carolina, and Phil (Phyllis) Sutula of Duluth, Minn.; and several cousins.
He had many special friends including Ryan Poole of Anderson, David Rambis of Middletown, and Dave Ellis of Fishers, who were always there for him in his special times of need.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Sutula.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Ned Clark officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
