INVERNESS, Fla. —
Ursula R. “Sissie” Ebert, 50, Inverness, Fla., died April 12, 2013, in Inverness.
She was born May 21, 1962 in Springfield, Tenn. She formerly worked as a hotel clerk for both Motel 6 and Super 8 hotels. Sissie married Harris R. Ebert on June 18, 1993, and they moved to Florida in 1999. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Ladies’ Auxiliary and proud donator to the “Locks of Love” program. She enjoyed traveling in the United States and overseas; writing; and working on crafts.
Sissie’s family includes her father, Frederick (Hagn) Kraft of Germany; husband of 19 years, Harris R. Ebert of Inverness, Fla.; two children, Christa (Karl) Senf of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Luke (Lisa) Norwood, stationed in Minot, N.D.; three stepchildren, Duncan Ebert of Anderson, Alisha Ebert of Ashland, Tenn., and Christina (Doug) Durbin of Fishers; three brothers, Anthony (Nadia) Kraft of Luxembourg, David Sober of California, and James Sober of Cripple Creek, Colo.; brother-in-law, Leon (Carol) Ebert of Frankton; an uncle; two aunts; one grandchild; six step-grandchildren; and three great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Billie Frances (Heatherly) Kraft.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with the Rev. Nate Warren officiating. Burial will be in the Elwood City Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
