GREENFIELD — Gloria Villazon-McCorkle, 71, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014, at Hancock Regional Hospital.
She was born Nov. 30, 1942, in Havana, Cuba, to the late Jose Berrardo Villizon and Maria Villizon Ferro.
Gloria was a 1959 graduate of Merici Academy in Cuba and continued her education in the dental field. Retiring in 2008, Gloria was an interpreter with Clarian Health. Prior to Clarian, Gloria was an orthodontic assistant in Florida. She was an avid reader, loved boating and was a Coast Guard Auxiliary member. Gloria loved her grandchildren and spending time with her extended family including aunts and uncles.
She is survived by husband, Marc of Greenfield; daughter, Maria Brown (David) of Pendleton; grandchildren, Brandon Brown, Erica (Austin) Heffelmire, Cristina Spear and Haley Brown; and great-grandchildren, Blake Heffelmire and Kendall Brown.
Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 W. Main St., Greenfield.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow in Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
