Billie M. Wisner

(Died March 23, 2013)

SEYMOUR, Ind. —  Billie Maxine (Williams) Wisner, 82, former Anderson resident, passed away peacefully March 23, 2013, with her family by her side, after a valiant battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

She spent most of her life in Anderson, and was a retired employee of Delco Remy Division of General Motors.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Carlos “Tokey” Wisner; sister, Frieda “Charlie” (Williams) Cantwell; brother, Donald Williams; and grandson, Jason Carlson.

She is survived by daughters, Deborah (Songer) Davis and husband, Robert, of Lafayette, Ind.; Paula (Songer) Leach and husband, James, of Anderson, Ind. and Kimberly ‘Wisner’ Hunt and fiancé, Donald Beaver of Scottsburg, Ind.; son, Floyd Songer and wife, Janice, of Sun Lakes, Ariz.; sister, Joanie (Williams) Henderson of LaGrange, Ind.; and special family friend, Mark Turner of Anderson; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

During life, Billie was adamant that no service be held for her after death, so her children are honoring her wishes.

Special thanks to the staff of Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour for taking such excellent care of Billie and her family.

All arrangements have been entrusted to the caring staff of Tri-County Crematory, Seymour, Ind., owned and operated by Voss and Sons Funeral Service.
