SEYMOUR, Ind. —
Billie Maxine (Williams) Wisner, 82, former Anderson resident, passed away peacefully March 23, 2013, with her family by her side, after a valiant battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
She spent most of her life in Anderson, and was a retired employee of Delco Remy Division of General Motors.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Carlos “Tokey” Wisner; sister, Frieda “Charlie” (Williams) Cantwell; brother, Donald Williams; and grandson, Jason Carlson.
She is survived by daughters, Deborah (Songer) Davis and husband, Robert, of Lafayette, Ind.; Paula (Songer) Leach and husband, James, of Anderson, Ind. and Kimberly ‘Wisner’ Hunt and fiancé, Donald Beaver of Scottsburg, Ind.; son, Floyd Songer and wife, Janice, of Sun Lakes, Ariz.; sister, Joanie (Williams) Henderson of LaGrange, Ind.; and special family friend, Mark Turner of Anderson; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
During life, Billie was adamant that no service be held for her after death, so her children are honoring her wishes.
