ANDERSON, Ind. —
J’Arius Rashaun Beck, 24, Anderson, passed away May 4, 2013.
Born on May 4, 1989, in Anderson, to John Bledsoe and Marlene Beck, he was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and Progressive Temple of Faith. J’Arius was devoted to his worship of Christ through song and through his guitar. He also was an admirer of gospel quartet music.
Survivors include his mother, Marlene Beck of Anderson; father, John Bledsoe of Indianapolis; children, Alaris and Zhariyana Beck; four brothers, Antonio D. Moore and Sydney Bledsoe, both of Anderson, John Louis (Kandis) Bledsoe of Conyers, Ga., and Delario Bledsoe of Indianapolis; four sisters, Katrina (Steve) Carter and Tiffany Chapell, all of Indianapolis, Amanda Kyle of Marion, and Donnesha Beck of Anderson; grandmother, Linzie Harris (Houston Crawford); special friend, Shaunta Vance of Anderson; close friends, Wade Allen and William Turner; special aunt and uncle, Alberta and Kevin Menifield; special uncle, Randy Beck; special cousin, Norman Rayford, James Williams, Wenzel Williams, Robin Rayford and Rodney Bledsoe; aunt, Darlene Williams; and uncle, Mark (Amanda) Beck of Muncie.
He was preceded in death by grandmother, Daisey Lee Bledsoe; uncle, George James Bledsoe Jr.; grandparents, Lorena and Edward Beck; and uncle, Douglass B. Beck.
Services will be held Saturday at noon at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 1540 W. 16th St., Anderson, with the Rev. Roosevelt Boyd officiating. Pastor Edgar Woodall will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.
