MARKLEVILLE — Nina Lee Wright, Markleville, passed away July 17, 2013, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
She was born in Anderson, the daughter of John and Belle (Tranbarger) Hatfield.
Nina Lee was a graduate of Anderson High School, Holy Cross School of Nursing in South Bend and Ball State University. She was employed as a registered nurse at several area hospitals, for Blue Cross Blue Shield, and worked as a nurse consultant for the state of Indiana.
She was a member of the Central Christian Church, the Soroptimist International of Anderson, the Pendleton Garden Club and the Writer’s Club. As a Master Gardener her garden and yard received a certified natural habitat award.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, James Wright of Anderson; children, David (Mary) Fields of Gary, Jennifer (Brett) Davis of Kokomo, Randy Fields of Anderson, and Ellyn (Wayne) Hall of Winslow; stepchildren, Jay (Maggie) Wright of Conroe, Texas, and Pam Wright of Willis, Texas; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and brothers, Larry (Wanda) Hatfield of Pennsylvania and Glen (Judy) Hatfield of Milroy.
Nina Lee was preceded in death by parents; and brother, Lowell Hatfield.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, Anderson, with the Rev. Rick Vale officiating. Cremation will follow the services.
Visitation will be 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Soroptimist Scholarship Fund.
