---- — DALEVILLE — Freda Elizabeth Pierce Franklin, 94, rural Daleville, passed away July 16, 2013, at Community Hospital, Anderson.
Born Oct. 23, 1918, in Salem Township, the daughter of Kenneth and Bertha Hofnerr Pierce, she had been a homemaker all of her adult life.
She was a member of the Home Economics Club, the Jolly Juniors and Westside Church of God in Yorktown.
Survivors include sister-in-law, JoAnna Franklin Siberry of White Pigeon, Mich.; nieces and nephews, Harry Pierce (Shirley) of Arvada, Colo., David (Judy) Pierce of Daleville, Bill (Sharon) Pierce of Winchester, Ky., Paul Pierce of Daleville, John (Beverly) Pierce of Carmel, Charles (Lori) Pierce of Knightstown, Connie Norris (Paul) of Silver Springs, Md., Greg Siberry (Debbi) of Elkhart, and Lori Hawk (Phil) of Yorktown; and special friends, Jerry and Mary Ann Moore of Daleville, Jim and Cheryl Moore of Indianapolis and Rudy and Candy Ballard of Daleville.
She was preceded in death by husband, Harley Franklin in 2000; parents; sister, Edith Taylor; brother: John W. Pierce; and sister-in-law, Mary Louis Pierce.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 S. Fifth St., Middletown.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
