Nov. 5, 1954 - March 31, 2013

SEATTLE — Kely D Kovach, 58, of Seattle, Wash., and a longtime resident of Pendleton, Ind., passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013, at her residence after fighting a courageous five-year battle with cancer.

She was born Nov. 5, 1954, the daughter of Thelma and Carl Taylor in Tacoma, Wash., and graduated from Nathan Hale High School. She attended Western Washington University and received a degree from the Cornish College of Arts in Seattle, Wash.

Kely was a talented artist and enjoyed golfing and spending time with family and friends. She worked at Universal Music Group in Fishers for more than 15 years.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Alan; her two daughters, Elizabeth (fiancé, John Forba), of Seattle, Wash., and Krystyna Kovach, of Pendleton; father, Carl Taylor of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother, Brad Taylor of Seattle, Wash.; sister, Kim Cheng of Phoenix, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.

Kely was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Taylor.

The family would like to thank Dr. Naqvi and the nurses and staff of the Madison County Cancer Care Center.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, Ind.

A Memorial Mass will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 523 S. Merrill St., Fortville, IN 46040.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
