ANDERSON, Ind. —
Nelson Boswell, 80, of Anderson, died April 3, 2013, at Community Hospital.
He was born Oct. 28, 1932, in Chicago, Ill., to Clifford Lawson and Charity Eleanor (Boswell) Lawson.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He retired from Delco Remy after 48 years of service.
He enjoyed working with crafts and woodworking. He loved country music and he was a devoted family man.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine Louise (Denman) Boswell of Anderson, whom he married July 16, 1955; his three children, Cathy Sue (Richard) Schuyler, Gene (Jerri) Boswell, and Vicki Lynn Keller; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brother, Billy Lawson; sister, Nellie Likens; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
