---- — ANDERSON — Bobby R. Hampton, 66, of Anderson, passed away on Nov. 22, 2013, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. He was born on Aug. 22, 1947, and had lived all of his life in Anderson.
He retired from Beaver Materials after 20 years of service.
Bobby was a member of Cross Roads United Methodist Church.
He enjoyed riding his Harley with his family and NASCAR.
Bobby is survived by his loving spouse whom he married in 1964, Alma (Rebenack) Hampton; children, Tracy (Robert) Brown, Robert Hampton, and Shirley (Benjamin) Sheridan; grandchildren, Cass (Kat) Hensley, Justin Hampton, Ashley Hamilton and Malina Sheridan; great-granddaughter, Llalyn Hensley; sister, Vivian Williams; brother, Mike Hampton; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a thank you to all of Bobby’s special friends and caregivers for all of their compassion and care.
He was preceded by his parents, James and Irene Hampton.
Cremation will take place with a celebration of life held at a later date at Cross Roads United Methodist Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads United Methodist Church.
Arrangements are being handled by Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson.
