PENDLETON — Katherine M. Yocom, 93, Pendleton, passed away June 11, 2013, at Springhurst Health Campus in Greenfield.
She was born Feb. 5, 1920, in Hamilton County, the daughter of Jesse and Mary Catherine (Brown) Musselman. She was a Noblesville High School graduate and lived in this area all of her life.
She retired in 1980 from Delco Remy after working 39.3 years. Katherine was a member of the East Lynn Christian Church and the Daughters of Nile.
The family would like to thank all her friends and staff of Springhurst Health Campus and Dr. Longe for all their care and concerns.
Katherine is survived by two nieces, Nancy (Bill) Erdes of Lafayette, and Linda (Marshall) Hatton of Gaston; eight great-nieces and nephews; her special friends, Phyllis Murphy, Wanda King, Karen Hallmann, Sharon Fox, and Ann and Allen Boyd.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth O. Yocom; one sister, Lois Bunker; and two brothers, Claude and Worth Maurice Musselman.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with the Rev. Susan Cameron officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
