ANDERSON — Lisa Kay Butler-Lightfoot, 46, of Anderson, passed away on June 15, 2013, unexpectedly at her residence. She had been battling for two years with pulmonary embolisms.
She was born on Oct. 14, 1966, in Anderson, and resided all of her life in Anderson.
Lisa graduated from Madison Heights in the Class of 1984.
She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. She enjoyed time with family, especially her grandson, Kayden.
Lisa will be sorrowly missed by her parents, Judy and Logan Butler of Anderson; daughters, Jessica (Brady) Butler and Chelsea Lightfoot of Anderson; sisters, Lora (Larry) Fowler and Lana (Bill) McDaniel; grandson, Kayden Butler; and nephews, Jerred Quartier, Dakota McDaniel and Mitchell Fowler.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Kathern (Benjamin) Griner and Virgal (Armilda) Butler; and friend, Elena Newsom.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, with the Rev. Gary McCaslin officiating. Visitation will be two hours before service. Cremation will take place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
