ELWOOD — Delorn Charles Bright, 48, of Elwood, passed away on May 1, 2014, at his residence. He was born on Aug. 15, 1965, in Anderson.
Chuck graduated from Madison Grant High School and Ivy Tech.
He worked as a bulk driver for Pepsi and a grocery store manager at Harvest Market.
Chuck was the most loyal and loving father, son, brother and friend that the family had ever known. He lived his life truly caring and loving everyone who had touched his life and he did not leave this world not knowing that he was loved by all who knew him.
He was baptized this past fall at First Baptist Church, Kendallville. He enjoyed poker, fishing, sports, and was an avid Cubs, Bears, Pacers, Purdue and IU fan.
Chuck is survived by his father, Delorn Charles Bright Sr.; mother, Barbara (Kennedy) Bright; daughters, Haley Bright, Sydney Bright, and Chloe Bright; siblings, Melody (Timothy) Tobin and Bryan Bright of Swayzee, Ind., Betsy (Michael) Ernst; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 10, 2014, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be Saturday, May 10, 2014, 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will take place in Vinson Memorial Park Cemetery, Summitville, Ind.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for his daughters.
