ANDERSON — A special angel, Barbara Ann Arnold, entered the gates of Heaven on May 15, 2014. She was a strong, loving, caring and devoted mom, nana, sister and friend. She lived for her family and loved them unconditionally.
Barbara was born on Sept. 4, 1944, in Anderson, the daughter of Earl and Betty (Cook) Jackson. She had been employed by Eavey’s, Matthews, Pay Less, Anderson Community Schools and retired from Lo Bill. She enjoyed NASCAR, football and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Beth Roller (James Clark) and Amber Arnold (Steven Parham); grandchildren, Kristina Padilla and Tanner, Taylor and Tyler Parham; great-grandchildren, Sierra and Olivia Padilla, Allan Robert, Kody, Kacey and Kalea Clark and Aaliyah Ochoa-Arellano; siblings, Charles Delong, Sue Kimmberling and Shirley Ball; several nieces and nephews, and her former husband, Ronnie Arnold.
She was preceded in death by her parents; great-granddaughter, Lilliana Hernandaz; and sisters, Ruth McCallister and Betty Painter.
Services will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service. Visitation will be on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with funeral costs.
