ANDERSON, Ind. —
Nedra L. Boyd, 80, of Anderson, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 3, 2013, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital, Anderson.
She was born on May 9, 1932, in Anderson, where she had lived her entire life.
She graduated from Anderson High School in 1950. Nedra was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching game shows.
Nedra had worked as a telecommunications operator for St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital, retiring in 1997 after 24 years of service.
She is survived by her son, Trent Boyd of Anderson; her daughter, Glennetta Boyd of Anderson; grandson, Jason (Angie) Boyd of Daleville; great-grandchildren, Erika Boyd of Daleville, and Sabrina Boyd of Daleville; and special friend, Donald Hensley, Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Lela (Baker) Harris; and brothers, Richard and David Harris.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the COPD Foundation through the funeral home.
