Patsy Ruth Hadley

July 6, 1946 - Aug. 18, 2012

ANDERSON, Ind. — Patsy Ruth (Hoard) Hadley, 66, of Anderson, died Aug. 18, 2012, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis after an extended illness.

Patsy was born July 6, 1946, in Anderson, to Clessie G. “Monk” and Alice May (Posey) Hoard.

She was a lifelong Anderson resident graduating from Anderson High School and Indiana Business College.

Patsy was a bookkeeper for NAPA Auto Parts for 31 years in Anderson.

She was a member of Central Wesleyan Church. She was a 55-year season ticket holder of Anderson Indian basketball tickets. She enjoyed game shows on television. She liked fishing, camping and catching a bigger fish than her husband. She enjoyed bingo and auctions.

She is survived by her husband, Fred L. Hadley of Anderson, whom she married Oct. 10, 1969; cousins, Sandy Henry of Fremont, Ohio, James Posey of Anderson, Donald Posey of Greenfield and Diana Posey of Moore, Okla.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and special cousin and lifelong friend, Betty Relford.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service, Anderson, with the Rev. Ken Sandefur officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
