---- — ANDERSON — One of God’s great servants left this earth to be carried sweetly into the arms of our Lord.
Marilyn Kay (Stohler) Dyer passed into her rest Thursday evening Nov. 14, 2013.
Marilyn was born June 21, 1932 in Shirley, the daughter of the late Garnet and Mildred (Gebhardt) Stohler.
She lived in the Muskegon, Michigan area for 10 years, providing house cleaning service and child care.
She was a loving mother and a member of the Parker Christ Fellowship in Parker City. She has been a resident of the Anderson area for the past 29 years.
Survivors include husband, Paul B. Dyer, whom she wed on Sept. 1, 1984; son, Daniel (Brenda) Owens; stepson, Jeff (Kate) Dyer; granddaughters, Jenny Owens, Hannah Owens, Bonnie Gillespie and Brynne Gillespie; grandson, Mark Owens; step-grandchildren, Amanda and Jason Dyer; and two sisters, Barbara Stohler of Indianapolis and Pat Plummer of Lapel.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Joy Gillespie.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson, with the Rev. Emery Reese and Pastor Kim Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
