ANDERSON, Ind. — Virginia Adeline Douglas, 90, of Anderson, passed away on May 1, 2013, at her residence.

She was born on Dec. 29, 1922, in Jennings County, and resided most of her life in Anderson.

Virginia graduated from Indiana Business School.

She was a retired bookkeeper for Independent Federal Credit Union after 35 years of service.

She was a member of South Meridian Church of God. She loved to crochet, knit, make jewelry, decoupage, latch hook, macramé, and any type of craft.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Shrake) Canaday of Anderson; grandson, Ryan Canaday; and by her loyal pets, Ginger and Zack.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Marie (Hayden) Adams; father, Lonnie Adams; and her sister, Marian Hulse.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Shelly Stottlemyer officiating. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
