MUNCIE, Ind. —
Dolores Mae Keesling, 85, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2013, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 6, 1927, in Daleville, the daughter of John Edward and Stella Irene (Minnick) Crabill.
She retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors in 1985, as an inspector, after 34 years of service. Dolores loved to travel and spend time with her family. She also enjoyed bowling, reading, gardening and crafts; including knitting and crochet.
Survivors include her children, Daniel Keesling (wife, Lorraine), Kay Kirby (husband, Mike) and John Keesling (wife, Karen); her grandchildren, Alisha Keesling, John B. Keesling, Brian Thomas, Kimberly Reum, Jennifer Coy, Jessica Duncan, Eric Keesling and Lindsay Keesling; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two brothers, Robert Crabill and William Crabill. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Carie Keesling; son Richard Keesling; and her parents.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, 415 E. Washington St., Muncie. Burial will follow at Tomlinson Cemetery.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2013, at the mortuary.
