---- — ANDERSON — Martha J. O’Bryant, 97, of Anderson, passed away on Jan. 16, 2014, at Edgewater Woods Nursing Home, Anderson.
She was born on April 15, 1916, in Anderson, where she resided most of her life.
Martha graduated from Anderson High School in 1933.
She retired from Anderson Banking Co. after 30 years.
She was a member of the Eagles and American Legion Auxiliary 408 in Chesterfield.
Martha is survived by her grandsons, Jimmy O’Bryant, and Jerry (fiancée, Kelli Whitehead) O’Bryant; great-grandchildren, Michael Jr., Heather, Joe, Shawn, Tiffany, Kyle and Patia; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Audrey Shelton; father, Glen Shelton; son, Darell O’Bryant; daughter-in-law, Judy O’Bryant; grandson, Michael O’Bryant Sr.; and former husband, Kenneth O’Bryant.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at East Maplewood Cemetery with Kent Stookey officiating. Burial will take place in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Christian Church, 1920 N. 200E, Anderson, IN 46012; or Madison County Humane Society.
