ANDERSON, Ind. — Lois Marie Staton, 70, of Anderson, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 25, 2013, at Community Hospital Anderson following a brief illness.
She was born April 28, 1943, in Noblesville, to the late Joseph E. and Pearl M. (Small) Staton, and attended Noblesville High School.
Lois was a member of Arrow Heights Church of God in Christ and her favorite pastime time was playing bingo.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Demita Jo (Barry) Staton-Piercy, Mary Marie Windham-Davis, Starla Rene Windham; siblings, John Allen Staton, Sandra Kay Hill, Irene Louise Jenkins and Mary Louise Goolsby; nine grandchildren, Autumn Davis, Ayris Davis, Alaysha Davis, Bradley McCain, Wesley Allen, Whitley Allen, Zachary Erby, Danielle (Wheeler) Carl, Jamie (Boston) Palin; seven great-grandchildren, Iyauna, Zaire, Macy Jo, Ivyauon, Za’myah, Bradley Jr. and Boston Jr .
Lois was preceded in death by her daughters, Annie Ruth Windham, Pearl Maxine Windham and Debra Ann Staton; brothers Bobby, Joe Allen and Ricky Staton; grandparents, Brutsal Small, Flossie Hendricks and Allen Staton, Nona Olds.
Graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Maplewood Cemetery.
