ANDERSON, Ind. —
Jackie Lee Cole, 84, of Anderson, passed away on May 9, 2013, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
He was born on July 12, 1928, in Elwood, Ind., and resided most of his life in Anderson.
Jackie graduated from Elwood High School.
He worked in production at Delco Remy Division of General Motors for 30 years, retiring in 1976.
Jackie attended First Church of the Nazarene.
He enjoyed sports, especially playing golf, and gardening.
The family would like to thank the 4th floor nursing staff, Dr. Green, and the other physicians at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital for all their wonderful care during his illness.
Jackie is survived by his loving spouse, whom he married Aug. 13, 1950, Jean (Wells) Cole; children, Richard (Cathy) Cole of Anderson, Debra D. Lloyd of Anderson and Gary (Carolyn) Cole of Greenfield; six grandchildren, Brandi and Casey Cole, Jeremy (Marlo) Lloyd, Jamie (Aaron) Filbrun, Kelly (Evertt) Ailes and Katelyn Cole; and four great-grandchildren, Austin and Haley Filbrun and Tori and Emersynn Ailes.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, Ind.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Gary Cable officiating. Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
