Larry Lee Savage

Aug. 10, 1949 - May 14, 2013

ANDERSON, Ind. — Larry Lee Savage, 63, a resident of Anderson, died on May 14, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born on Aug. 10, 1949, and was the son of Cascar Savage and Eleanor (McCoullough) Savage.

He was a 1967 graduate of Tipton High School and was the Director of Admissions at the Nielsen Electronic Institute in Charleston, S.C., for the passed eight years. He loved gospel music, fishing and playing golf.

Surviving are his wife, Benita; three sons, Larry Lee (Celeste) Savage Jr. of Alexandria, Phillip Dean (Stacy) Savage of Anderson, and Adam Justice (Kim) Savage of Anderson; one sister, Kathy (Robert) White of Attica; two brothers, Mark Savage (Carla Stewart) of Kansas and Tim Savage of Florida; eight grandchildren, Seth Savage, Brock Savage, Madison Savage, Trevor Savage, Hayley Savage, Evan Savage, Ericka Smith and Devon Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Phillip Dean Savage.

Services will be held at noon Monday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, Daleville, with the Rev. Michael Deutsch of the First Baptist Church of Alexandria officiating.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the funeral home.

The Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Larry Savage with family and friends.

Memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church of Alexandria.
