---- — FISHERS -- Charles Alton "Charlie" Hatchel, 67 of Fishers, died Aug.13, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 1, 1945, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., to the Rev. John Lewis and Sylvia (Jackson) Hatchel.
He was a pharmaceutical sales representative for Schering-Plough in Indianapolis for 30 years before retiring in 2009.
He was a member of Church at the Crossing; avid golfer, he loved being grandpa and traveling.
Survivors include his wife, Diana (Coffman) Hatchel of Fishers, whom he married Aug. 20, 1966, in Kettering, Ohio; his son, Steve (Natalie) Hatchel and his daughter, Jenny (Tal) Kirkwood, all of Fishers; sister, Brenda (Bill) Maurer of Ocean City, N.J.; brother-in-law, Bob (Vivian) Coffman of Anderson; six grandchildren, Kaleigh Hatchel, Logan Hatchel, Anna Hatchel, Jack Kirkwood, Maggie Kirkwood and Charlie Kirkwood; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Nola Sue Probst.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Church at the Crossing, 9111 Haverstick Road, Indianapolis, IN 46240, with Dr. Steve Rennick and the Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Burial will be at approximately 3:30 p.m. Saturday at East Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church.
