---- — ANDERSON — Nancy Lee Lantz, 83, of Anderson, passed away on Oct. 6, 2013, at Meadowbrooke Rehab Center & Suites, Anderson.
She was born on Oct. 23, 1929, in Decatur, Ill., and resided most of her life in Anderson.
Nancy graduated from Anderson High School and attended Indiana University.
She worked with NASA on the Gemini and Apollo Space Program, Ball State University and retired from Delco Remy.
She was an avid golfer, she loved to knit, and enjoyed watching sports.
Nancy is survived by her loving children, David (Betty) Sewall of Fort Smith, Ark., Barbara (Arther Buckner) Lantz of Anderson, and Chris Freeman of Anderson; granddaughter, Amy (Larry) Pelzel of Denton, Texas; granddaughter, Nikki Sewall of Dustin, Fla.; granddaughter, Amanda Freeman of Anderson; and two great-granddaughters, Felicity Matzenbacher and Faith Matzenbacher.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary (Foulks) Groble; father, William Groble; and grandson, Andrew Freeman.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, Indiana.
By request of the family cremation will take place with no services.
