Letter: City utility crews deserve praise

After the recent storms, I realized that I rarely see any appreciation for our Anderson City Utilities. You hear about the hundreds of people who are without power after a storm and sometimes it goes on for days. I realize the difficulties they face, but I must say that we are either very lucky to miss the storm's damages or our utility company provides excellent maintenance.

In the 20 years I have lived here I can count on one hand the number of times I have been without power and I think that is pretty remarkable.
