Letter: Deniers ignoring catastrophic storms

They say you live and learn, but on Wednesday, Feb. 26, I saw a letter to the HB editor in which a guy was so oblivious to the facts about climate change, I really felt embarrassed for him.

He still thinks it's a hoax. He thinks because it's not hot all the time, there's no global warming. He thinks anything that smacks of climate change must be linked to the new world order or liberal politics. He's not noticing those little details like Katrina, catastrophic storms and broken records of all types, or the 100-year floods every three years in New York.

I qualified every claim I made and any fool could look them up. But, I guess that's why they call them "climate deniers." My only mistake was saying methane is 10 times worse than CO2 at retaining heat. I was wrong. It's 100 times worse.

In fact, my last letter about climate change was so accurate, you could literally put it on your refrigerator and use it to explain to your grandchildren how we ruined the world's environment for them.

Yes, the future is bright.
No, the Colts would have won another Super Bowl by now if they had kept Manning.
Don't know; don't care
