Letter: Awards gala renewed enthusiasm about Madison County

Missing from The Herald Bulletin's report on the Annual Awards Gala of the Madison County Chamber (March 7) was the focus of the event: "I've got a feeling" about Madison County.

Emcee Keith Trent, vice president of Community Hospital and director of the Foundation, started off the program with a promise: that we would leave "energized and pumped up" about this place in which we live and work and raise our families.

Promise kept, Mr. Trent. Ask anyone.

Accolades as well, not only to the award winners, but also to Kyle Morey, MCC president and CEO, and to his staff and board of directors. To produce a presentation of such high quality took months of planning and hard work on the part of lots of chamber members.

The beautiful videos (showcased so well on the large screen at Madison Park Church of God), made me fall in love again with this community I've called home for 28 years. Hats off, dear friends.
