Letter: Community has witnessed Dr. Campbell's good works

---- — I am the pastor of Church Upon The Rock. I'm writing this letter on behalf of Dr. Frank Campbell. Dr. Campbell has practiced medicine in the Anderson community for over 40 years. He is a well-respected professional citizen, and a true man of God.

Not many will argue the integrity and compassion of Dr. Campbell. In a time where minorities had few opportunities, he, along with his colleagues, the late D. Alvin Bridges and Dr. John Woodall, maintained a very successful medical firm (Bridges, Campbell and Woodall — or BCW) that saw any and everyone who had medical needs in this community, regardless of income or insurance. I, along with several of my church members, have been and some still are patients of his and hold him in the highest regard.

After Dr. Campbell retired, he was called to be the medical director of the Madison County Community Health Center. Many citizens of Anderson and surrounding communities were so excited when Dr. Campbell went back to work for our community. This institution has grown from one single building to a state-of-the-art medical facility that we in this community are most proud of.

In closing, members of Church Upon The Rock and myself would like to express that we stand behind Dr. Campbell for we have seen his good works and have been subject to his compassionate care.
