Letter: Super greedy deflect harm on society

If the media would slide in a little bio every time a super greedy person or corrupt politician is mentioned in a story or the obituaries it would really help us all.

An example for a super greedy person could be Mr. X also made millions by sending 2,000 jobs to Mexico and/or China while 2,000 Americans lost their pensions, 900 of his former workers lost their homes, and caused the city to suffer economically. For a corrupt politician, it could read Politician Y received millions from companies, individuals and lobbyists to vote and create laws that made a few richer and the rest of us suffer. Throughout the history of man the super greedy and their flunkies have done a masterful job of deflecting the harm they cause on society onto different religions, races, nationalities and the poor.

The reason so many people are in dire straights today is these people are operating without much opposition. Exposing these people that don't give a damn about anything but themselves for the parasites that they are, is a start on curing the world's ails. This is not a matter of wealth, but a matter of excessive greed. Tim MahaffeyMiddletown
