Letter: Apology offered for wrong conclusion

I want to apologize to the Ricker family for assuming they had a majority interest and would benefit immensely from the proposed Mounds Reservoir. They do not.

They have no interest in any marina or own any land around the area. I jumped to a conclusion that was totally wrong and off base to assume.

Our government officials of both parties have jaded us with self-serving agendas.

The general public is usually on the short end of things.

The reservoir was merely a suggestion, only to see if it was feasible or workable for the city of Anderson. There is no secret agenda from the Ricker family.

Again, my apologies to all concerned whom I've hurt by being quick to judge and assume something which is not true.

Ronald K. Jones
