Letter: Tea party rhetoric is wearing thin

In reference to Mr. Imhof's letter published June 6, I wonder how many other people are as sick and tired of hearing all this tea party rhetoric, like global elitist and new world order as I?

The constant put-downs of so-called Obamacare are party line all the way. I'm sure Mr. Imhof has good medical insurance, but in case he hasn't heard, Obamacare is the law, it works very well and it's not going away. In fact over 8,000,000 are signed up and very happy with it. That's not including those signed-up on expanded Medicaid.

Incidentally, we could have more of our federal tax money back in the form of expanded Medicaid if our governor could be reasonable and break away from the big money lobbyist. I wonder if he knows the statistics say from 1 percent to 2 percent more Hoosiers will die if he doesn't expand Medicaid; does he think about that before going to sleep at night and does he care?

Now that Andrew Luck is getting ready to start the third year of his NFL career, did the Colts make the right decision to release Peyton Manning and turn the offense over to Luck?

Yes, the future is bright.
No, the Colts would have won another Super Bowl by now if they had kept Manning.
Don't know; don't care
