Letter to the editor: Republican tax cut is for only the rich

The Herald Bulletin

— Don’t judge this bunch of phony majority demagogues in Indianapolis by who gets a tax cut, because if you are a middle class member working stiff, you won’t get one. At least for over $10 a year, while the rich of Indiana will get millions in cuts. Same old crap!

Judge them by lost jobs, pay cuts, bad roads, no drainage, broken street lights, no worker respect, foul air, bad water and a thousand other crimes and misdemeanors.

To defend their latest tax cut, for the rich, the Republicans claim (a lie) there’s more money for fixing roads. Ha, ha — they had better hurry before they all turn to gravel. But, did you notice? There’s no money for more pay for Hoosiers. No sir-ee, not even a plan.

The Republicans have continuously lied, here in Indiana and on the national level, about what they intend to do and the consequences of their plans when it does happen.

They are merely pimps for Wall Street and the billionaires of the world. And these elected conservatives have no vote and no influence in Washington. Republicans in Hoosier-land only represent citizens in Carmel, Fishers and Hamilton County.

This so-called balanced budget is balanced alright; on the backs of you and me. The lovers of foreign cars, whose car payments go directly to Japan, sell you and your neighbors a bill of goods and laugh at you behind your back. - Chumps.
