Highland Middle School student accused of bringing unloaded gun to school. (March 5)

  •  “If ACS security measures were working, a student would never be able to get a gun into the school. That’s why my daughter doesn’t attend public schools ...”
  • “(Superintendent) Chow hasn’t a clue what going on, if this is safety procedures working, I would hate to see it not working. Impeach Chow!
  •  ““Highland had metal detectors 13 years ago when I went there why don’t they now?”

THB: In this day and age there is no reason not to have a metal detector at the school entrance most used by the students. We are glad that the gun was unloaded, but how about next time? There are no safety procedures in place if there is no metal detector on site.
